The Thunder Men’s volleyball team are excited to announce that preparations for the 2016-17 season are underway! To that end, we are running open summer practices three nights a week in the Algonquin gym for college and university level players and for any potential club players (18U level) on Sundays 8-10 pm, Mondays 8:30-10:30 pm, and Thursdays 6:30-8:30 pm.
We already have some university and college players practicing with us and it will be a great chance for players to stay engaged and to practice with higher levels. The structure is group practice two nights/week and position-specific training one night/week for now. That might change through the summer depending on the numbers and skill levels.
A concentrated advanced camp will be held around the end of August. The exact scheduling for that camp and any associated fees are to be determined. Please check back to this website as the summer progresses for more details.
Please don’t hesitate to contact head coach Moe Shaheen at albatalshaheen@gmail.com for any further inquiries.
